This is a very famous n handy palette by sleek which contains all three face essentials such as blush , highlighter and a bronzer. It comes in several shades n I chose fair according to my complexion.. It also comes in light, medium n dark..
I've ordered all sleek palettes at it official website n got delivered in about 20 days. If u r in india u can also order them online.. There is free shipping n no customs.
Let's start with the review,

Price: 14$ (922/- Indian rupees)

Step One:
  • Prep your skin ensuring face and neck are clean and dry.
  • Step Two:
  • Apply foundation of choice to create a smooth and even complexion.
  • Step Three:
  • To achieve great cheek definition, using a small contour brush, apply the contour powder, starting from the ear and gently blending torwards the direction of your mouth, building definition as desired and blending as you to go, to ensure all lines are soft.
  • Step Four:
  • For Face Form in Fair/Light apply blush to apples of cheeks using contour brush or blush brush, ensuring you blend as you go, erasing all hard lines.
  • For Face Form in Medium/Dark apply bronzer to cheeks, nose, forehead and chin sparingly to add that sunkissed look.
  • Step Five:
  • Finally, apply the highlighter lightly to the apples of the cheeks for a highlighted contour creating soft, yet defined and sculpted cheekbones.

  • Packaging:

Comes in standard black matte casing similar to that of other Sleek products , it's actually very sleek and classy palette containing three different items, a countour powder which is a light brown bronzer, a highlighter n a blush.. The brand name is embossed in glossy writing on the top of the case, the flip cover of the palette contains a decent sized mirror all over the cover which I find very useful n big enough to use.. It's very travel friendly n compact to use n carry.. There is no brush provided in the palette which I actually don't mind as I prefer using my own brushes.

    My Take On The Product:

Much like the contour kit, the Face Form palette includes both a contour and a highlight shade. However, there’s also the addition of a blush or a bronzer depending on which shade you opt for.

There are four shades available – Fair, Light, Medium and Dark.
The two palettes for lighter skin tones include Sleeks infamous Rose Gold blush whilst the Medium and Dark palettes include a shimmery bronzer.
It's basically a dupe for Nars Orgasm. I will compare nars orgasm n sleeps rose gold soon ..
    Let's study the shades closely,

    Countering Powder:

This is a very good countering shade for fair to medium skin tones, it's neither very dark nor light. It does not contain any orange undertones unlike other countering shades. It's a total matte powder n isn't chalky too.
It creates perfect shadow look to Accenture your cheeks n give a look of deeply set hallows of your cheek.. It's highly pigmented so b very light handed..
I sweep them lightly in the hallows of my cheeks n then blend them perfectly .. Blending is the key to the perfect look if not the partitions n sharp edges of the countering powder n blush may make u look ugly .. Overall very good shade as I personally don't like dark powders to steal my fairness :p

    Blush In Rose Gold:

This was like one of my dream blush.. It's highly raved n loved product by makeup bloggers n mua for creating that high end look with a drugstore product.
It's mostly said to b an dupe for Nars Organsm which I may compare later. It's a beautiful coral brush with golden shimmer in it..
It looks gorgeous on brides n trust me when I used it for the first time I could not see any application of blush.. It made my look so natural as if I had that tint on my cheeks, it blends so naturally into my cheeks n gives a flawless look.
The shimmer is so subtle that it only adds a beautiful golden glow n u don't need any highlighter on your cheeks after this blush.
This is my favourite thing in the whole palette.. M going mad over this.. Amazingggg product. Must must have.
This blush is also available in singles too. So if u don't want the countering kit u can buy this alone. It may cost u around 7$

    Highlighter:

Highlighter is perfect for fair skin with. It's a beautiful champagne shade that works really well with my skin tone. Its very finely milled and pigmented too so it gives my skin a lovely ‘lit from within’ type glow instead of it being too shimmery or glittery.
There is shimmer in it but not glittery. The shimmer is very subtle. Looks great after blending it . Apply it to the top of your cheek bones above your blush. It gives a nice healthy glow.

    My take on the palette:

Amazing, awesomely pigmented, long lasting n absolutely perfect kit for countering n travel friendly.
    Multi purpose palette.

    Cons: None

    Will I purchase again:

If at all I loose my palette I might otherwise I don't need to as they will last very long. N I wud definitely try more shades from the range..

    Fab Bag Jan 2014 review

Posted by Unknown at 01:39 1 comments
    Hello everyone,

M extremely sorry for being away from my blog for such a long time.. But actually m extremely busy with shopping n stuff.. Ders a big news coming your way.. But until den keep guessing..!! Some sort if suspense is needed for the news.. So I have loads of products to review but no time. But since this can't b delayed n u people might want to c the review for the month of jan in January itself I've posted the review. So let's start with the review,

This month the theme was being classy n since they have changed the brand name I thought they might add some new brands too n yes they did..

    Packaging:

They came in a zipper bag in reddish maroon color with black zip n name printed on the bag ,which I think was good enough n decent among all previous ones.

    Products I Got:

    - Naked Potion Lotion: full size 1300/- (200g) I got a sample pack.

This is new brand in the fab bag n it's actually owned by Lisa Haydon a Bollywood actress .. It's an organic brand . It is basically a moisturizer for face n body both.. Mostly for face.. Since it is basically made of all natural products like aloe Vera , vitamin E oil, rose hip oil n avocado oil I don't mind using this on face.. It's also a preservative- free product..
When I tried this moisturizer it got absorbed immediately n there was no shine or greasiness on the face.. It dis moisturize well n did not cause any breakouts or clogging into my combination skin type..
Definitely a good product.. I like this..

    - Lavender Body Lotion: Full size 525/- (250ml) I got a sample of 35ml

Natures co is a very old brand in a fab bag n they always send something from this brand which I don't mind as it's a wonderful brand..
This is again a moisturizing lotion for body . It's a lavender lotion with lavender extracts, olive oil n vitamin E ..
It smells great but then again a moisturizer ?? I don't think I needed this in my bag..

    - Lord & Berry seta eyeshadow: Full size 800/-  I got a full size ..

M happy that I atleast got one makeup product as I keep on asking more of makeup or atleast equal makeup with skincare.. N it's a good brand. The product is Paraben free.
The eye shadow I got is a matte eye shadow in a light lavender purple shade called cocktail . M not very fond of the shade but yes it's usable n can b mixed with others n create a smokey look.

    - Nyassa Almond Body Butter: Full size 600/- (100ml) I got a sample pack.

Firstly again a moisturizing stuff ???? Tooooo much of body care, moisturizers , lotions n stuff.. Very disappointed :(
N m not a fan of almond fragrance so definitely not my pick. But usable..

    My Verdict:

Very angry by so many moisturizers .. Too much of moisturizing stuff in a bag.. Got three products for moisturizing among 4 :(
I regret re subscribing.. Dats all I can say..

Sleek Blush By 3 In Pink Sprint Review N Swatches

Posted by Unknown at 23:51 3 comments
    Hello everyone,

How are you all? M lil unwell these days but for makeup lovers no illness can stop them to shop for makeup.. So I got some awesome makeup today .. Will review them soon. So stay tuned.

On my last review of sleek blush palette many of my fellow bloggers commented that pinky palette was too cool for warm n dusky skin tones so here's  a treat for all those dusky beauties n blush lovers like me.. Even though in pink shades it has warm undertones in shades like red n bright pink . Today m gonna review another palette from sleek called pink sprint.
    So let's start the review,

    Price:14$ for 20gm

    Ingredients:

    Mica, Talc, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisosterate, Nylon-12, Magnesium Stearate, Jojoba Esters, Dimethicone, Polyethylene, Phenoxyethanol MAY CONTAIN: TITANIUM DIOXIDE(CI 77891), D&C RED NO.7(CI 15850:1), D&C RED NO.30(73360), YELLOW IRON OXIDE(CI 77492), RED IRON OXIDE(CI 77491), BLACK IRON OXIDE(CI 77499), MANGANESE VIOLET(CI 77742)

    How to use:

Using a blusher or contour brush, layer the varying shades to build intensity, or apply alone heavily for a burst of full-on colour.

    Company claims:
The ultimate cheeky palette offering you three times the impact. Includes three complementary shades, each designed with its own distinctive finish, from rich shimmers to intense matte shades.

  • Available in six unique colour combinations designed to suit all skin tones
  • Each shade can be used alone, or layered for a unique look
  • Each palette has a versatile selection of shades to take your makeup from day to night and keep it on trend from season to season
  • Set in a mirrored compact, ideal for touch-ups throughout the day

  • Packaging:

Comes in standard black matte casing similar to that of other Sleek products , it's actually very sleek and classy palette containing three different shades of blushes.

This is a permanent collection palette which is more on the warm undertones n dark pink shades which can compliment any skin tone from fair to dusky..

The palette comes with three powder blushes n all are matte n that thing I think will b loved by many .. As many people prefer their blushes to b matte without any shimmer .. So this is a perfect palette. But yes it has some bright bold shades which can b altered on application.. It can b worn light to dark n that depends on your hand of application..
The shades are from the family of pink n named as Pink Parfait, Pink Ice & Pinktini.
Let's review each shade in detail..

    Pink Parfait:

This is the darkest shade in the pan, it's a red shade more of a maroon tinge in it. It might look very scary but trust me it's an awesome color if applied properly. It can b paired with red lipstick .. All u Need to do for a lovely look is to b very light handed..

    Pink ice:

This is a bright pink almost fuscia pink. It's more on a neon side.. It's a great shade to b worn with any skintones. It can make the face glow but as I said all the shades from this palette are to b used with very light hands. Looks like a nice Barbie pink .

    Pinktini:

It's a muted rose pink which at first I thought would b very warm on my skin but then it looked very pretty when is watched it.. It's a beautiful dull rose pink . It's slightly chalky in texture n took little more time to blend than others.

The pigmentation is very good ..No doubt sleek blushes are famous for their pigmentation. All three are extremely pigmented n can give u enough color in just single swipe..

U need to b very light handed to use these blushes as these might become too much if u apply heavily n u might end up looking like a clown.. But u can always lighten them with a clean brush.
Thus in pigmentation it's more than amazing n as very little can go a long way these might last very long which is again a good thing.

The affordable prices makes them much more loving as three blushes with such good quality in juz 922 rupees!!!
The lasting power is again amazing , they can last for about 7 to 8 hours n might start fading after that.. I Hv used them for abt 7 hrs n they were as I applied until I took them off.
The pigmentation is very buttery n soft n glides smoothly. N their is no fallout..

    Overall verdict:

Amazing, awesomely pigmented, long lasting n absolutely lovely colors..

    Cons: None

    Will I purchase again:

If at all I loose my palette I might otherwise I don't need to as they will last very long. N I wud definitely try more shades from the range..

So let's start with the review,

    Price: 14.99$ for 20gm around 922 rupees.

    How to use:

Using a blusher or contour brush, layer the varying shades to build intensity, or apply alone heavily for a burst of full-on colour.

    Packaging:

L-r cupcake,  dolly mix & candy floss

Comes in standard black matte casing similar to that of other Sleek products , it's actually very sleek and classy palette containing three different shades of blushes.

This limited edition blush trio is part of the Candy Collection released by Sleek on the 5th of June 2013. But fortunately it's still being sold online.
This palette consist of pretty pink shades in different textures n finish.. Matte, shimmer n cream blush..
The shades are names very cutely keeping it's theme collection in mind. The three shades have been named as cupcake, dolly mix & candy floss..

    Cupcake:

This is a cream blush. A bright pink shade with blue undertones. M not a fan of cream blushes but after using this I may change my opinion.. It's Avery pretty shade n also leaves a very dewy finish. It makes the skin look healthy n gives a flushed glow to the cheeks.. Can b worn anytime day or evening looks superb throughout..

    Dolly Mix:

This is a powder blush n it is the lightest shade in the palette.. It's a beautiful very light lilac shade with cool undertones.. It's a very pretty daily wear shade n can b worn for simple day look. It gives u a very clean and minimal makeup look.

    Candy Floss:

A bright pink-almost-red shade with yellow undertones. It had very tiny gold shimmer in it, giving it a shimmer finish; it is also a powder blush. This might look very dark in the palette but isn't that dark once u apply it.. This shade can b worn for evening parties or day wear. Looks good n the shimmer is not very shimmery it's very subtle n gives a healthy balance.

No doubt sleek blushes are famous for their pigmentation. All three are extremely pigmented n can give u enough color in just single swipe..
U need to b very light handed to use these blushes as these might become too much if u apply heavily n u might end up looking like a clown.. But u can always lighten them with a clean brush.
