Fab Bag (vellvette) December 2013 review

How ru all..? I was lil busy with my friends marriage.. But m back now. So here's my review on the vellvette bag which changed their name to fab bag from now. My subscription expired last month so I renewed it again for 6 months again. So let's start with the review.

Packaging: 

Came in a zipper black bag. With multiple colored stars printed on it. I think the black color is very dull n bag looks old n used. I personally dint like the packaging at all for this month.

My review:

Well m all the way again dissappointed by my bag.. I've seen others bags on thier blog n I really think they all Hv got better products . Some got TIGI products or Burt bees etc..

N moreover I have clearly mentioned in my questionnaire that I have a flat straight hair. But still they got me the product that is shampoo n conditioner for straightening the hair.. I was so upset seeing these two.. It's a total waste for me.
the only good thing abt dis product is its sls free Parabeen free. .

Coming to the Iraya nourishing lotus body butter , it may b MOISTURIZING but I dint like its smell.. I won't use this as well.

LA Splash nail polish splash was the only good product  but the shade I got is silver with multi glitter.. M a gold person n not much into silvers.. I might rarely use this one.

I won't comment on a bonus product which is a acetone free nail paint remover n I dint like the featured products at all so wat to say about the bonus one.

I got good products in the last month bag as it was my expiring month n they wanted me to renew it. But again they came back to offering useless products.. By far worst bag ever..

Maybelline Diamond Glow Eyeshadow quad- 01 Copper Brown review nswatches

Hw ru all doing? I m quite unwell, got some cold n flu n that's the reason I haven't posted since two three days. Newz as u all have seen my maybelline haul in my recent post n today I Hv come up with an review of the product from that haul..

M reviewing maybelline diamond glow eyeshadow quad in copper brown . M literally obsessed with the neutrals n nude shades.. M loving the natural looking eyeshades. This quad looked beautiful with neutral colors so I kinda liked them n bought it. So let's start with the review.

Price: 475/- 

Directions for Use

SUBTLE CHIC LOOK
Illuminate – Sweep lightest shade all over eye using wider side of applicator, from lash line to brow bone.
Blend – Apply second shade across full lid; using tapered end of brush, add shade to lower lash line for depth.
Emphasize – Sweep third shade from inner corner to middle of lid.
Contour – Line darkest shade on upper lash line with tapered end of brush for added intensity.

HIGH IMPACT LOOK
Illuminate – Sweep lightest shade all over eye using wider side of applicator, from lash line to brow bone.
Emphasize – Blend second shade from inner corner to middle of lid.
Intensify – Apply third shade from outer corner to middle of lid; line upper and lower lash for extra pop.
Deepen – Add darkest shade in crease and line upper and lower lash line for more impact.

Packaging:

Comes in sleek palette with a transparent flip cover .. The shades r beautifully located n r quite travel friendly.. It comes with an applicator which is of no use n I prefer brushes.

My review on the product:

I already had this palette in blue shades which I bought for a party few mins before getting ready.. N I regret it till now. It was the worst palette of my life. Very low in pigmentation n the shades dint show up even after rubbing a lot on the shadow. Anyways let's leave the worst palette n come back to the better one. So this palette comes with four shades.. Basically two shades of gold n other two of copper.

All four shades are shimmery which I dislike but it's actually a palette for four so it would b little tough for making with both matte and shimmer. Anyways let's come to the shades.

The colors are nicely pigmented enough to give a good pay off. They also has very subtle shimmer n does not look chalky. They are very smooth n buttery.. I like this particular palette as the colors are neutral n trust me they give a beautiful naturally brown eyes when created.. There is not much fallout too. Overall m happy. They last about four to five hours n tend to fade after that..

The firsts shade is a light champagne golden color which is perfect for highlighting the inner corners n also the brow bone. They can also b used individually but combined with the shades in the palette or with any other colors this shade is a basic highlighter which can b used with any colors. Even though it's a light shade it clearly shows up n mostly highlighting shades are so light that they r not even visible but I liked this shade which is nice highlighting shade.

The second shade is my favorite .. Not many ppl may like this shade but I prefer such which are very naturall n open up eyes n gives a brightening look. This is a pinky rose gold shade.. It has very light pink undertones with golden shimmer. I prefer using this on to my entire lid with lil dark shade at the outer corner . But it can also b used in the crease if u want an gold look using the third shade on the entire lid. 

Third shade is pure gold n it's a good golden shade which is not very dark nor very light. It's a perfect golden shade n this is very good for evening wear n parties as this is highly pigmented n quite shimmery too. The last two shades are perfect for party looks. This can b used with the fourth shade to create a golden brown smokey look.

The fourth shade is dark brown with coppery shine n it's an ideal shade for creating smokey eyes. Nw a days I find brown smokey look is more in trend than black.. N it also gives your eyes a different look.. This can b used at the outer corner n it will give your eyes a perfect smokey look.

Cons:

Not long lasting 

Less quantity 

No matte shades to blend in crease

Overall verdict:

Particularly for these shades it's a good pallette but I don't recommend this pallette for any other shades, n it's overall a good pallette to use for day looks n light parties too n easy to carry. I think all four shades compliment each other n can create one ful look by these 4shades.. So yes good one.

Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Peachy Sweetie

Today m gonna review most loved n cheaply priced blushes by maybelline. The cheeky glow blushes come in three shades. Fresh coral, peachy sweetie and creamy cinnamon. I picked up the shade peachy sweetie.its basically perfect for fair skin tone, while fresh coral is for every skintones light to dark as it's a bright color. Creamy cinnamon is light brownish peach shade which may look good on medium skintones .

So let's start with the review.

Price: 225/- for 7g

Packaging:

Comes in small round packs with a transparent flip cap with the brand label printed on the top of the cap. The blush lies in a white colored pan . Packaging is very cute n good for daily wear .

What company claims:

Ultra light weight, silky, blendable powders

Meet the new blush on the block. So Silky and smooth, it blends flawlessly for the most natural finish.

Soft texture for a natural hue.

Easily blends with your skin color

Comes with 3 fresh colors for your pretty skin: Creamy Cinnamon, Fresh Coral and Peach Sweetie.

My thoughts about the product:

These cheeky blushes are awesomely pigmented . The texture is smooth n soft. The brush glides on smoothly n the fallout isn't that much. The color pay off is great n in one swipe it gives good color n 2 swipes are enough for the wear..they do not highlight my spots which is the best part.. 

The color spreads on smoothly over the skin n it does not contain any shimmer or glitter. It just pops up the cheeks n gives a glowy n fresh look. The color is great for fair skintones n gives the face a brighter look. The best thing about these blushes is that they look very natural. Great colors for day wear.

They are dermatologist tested and non comedogenic too n what more can u ask for in 225 bucks..

I think these are the best buys as there are no other brand with blushes in this range. I personally loved the quality n pay off of the product. I think they did a decent job.

The wear time can last about 4 to 5 hours.. The color fades off a bit n requires touch ups but I can't ask for more in the price they are offering.. 

Cons: 

May not last long n color may fade a bit but I don't Hv issues as I won't use this for any evening wear.

Maybelline the FALSIES Volume Express waterproof mascara

Hi everyone,

Today m gonna review a mascara from famous maybelline range. It's called FALSIES volume express . It comes in two variants. One is waterproof n other is non waterproof ..

Price: 475/- for 7.5ml but I got it in sale on GOSF for about 20% on MRP

Packaging:

Comes in a plastic tube in purple color with the wand lid, with the brush little curved.. Packaging is very same as all other mascara from maybelline .. 

What product claims:

For best results Hold brush with spoon side upwards against lashes and sweep from root to tip. Repeat until desired look is achieved. Do not let dry between coats.

My thoughts about the product:

Well let's start with the positive points. So when I applied the first coat it did gave some volume to my lashes. They looked dark n fuller. On applying the second coat it gave no clumps n yes my lashes looked ful of volume n it left no spaces in between my lashes. 

The spoon shaped brush makes the application easier , the inner corner lashes also get the mascara easily while applying.. It's long lasting n waterproof. They are also opthaalmogically tested n contact lens safe.. 

But my lashes lacked the fake lashes look which obviously I wasn't expecting too. But my lashes dint look long , they only looked thick.. So I feel their should b two mascara used when using this. One for lengthening n this one for volume. 

It may not b that expensive but I've used better mascara in lesser price than this.. My oriflame mascara really changes my look.. Will review that soon.

Cons:

Isn't the best mascara I've used till now.

Does not lengthens the lashes.

Isn't as dramatic as maybelline claims it to b.

Expensive

Overall verdict:

I don't think I would re purchase this.. Can b used with lengthening mascara to get the desired look. But overall this mascara does not satisfy all it's claims. But it's clumps proof n long lasting.. 

My Maybelline Haul

Hello everyone , 

Hw ru all doing? I was out for buying some grocery but as u all no an makeup obsessed person will b dragged towards cosmetic counters , so I was just checking out the lip liners n then I ended up buying many other things.

 Il be reviewing every product one by one.. But for now m just sharing the pics of the stuff I bought. I have bought a lot of stuff lately but vl post one by one. GOSF discounts plus sales in malls n my friends wedding made me buy a lot of stuff.. 

N this month falls to b my bday month, it was on 7th dec.. So it's actually a shopping month for me.. 

Well il soon b doing a giveaway by the end of this month.. Its gonna b my first giveaway.. So keep following my posts for the updates..

Maybelline Color Show Pink Voltage 010 review n swatches

I've recently reviewed maybelline color show in teal shade n many of u all loved the shade , today m gonna review the most loved shade from the range as well as many girls have this color as their favorites including me :p

So it is a shade called Pink Voltage 010. It's a lovely bubblegum pink shade so let's start with the review.

Price:75/- for 6ml

Packaging:

Comes in cylindrical glass bottle with a black screw cap. The bottle is transparent with the paint shade view able n the label is on the lid of the bottle. The shade name n number is imprinted on the top of the lid while most of the nail paints has in their bottom n this is the best thing I like as I can easily pick up the bottle from my stash seeing the shade name on the top.

My take on the product:

No doubt I love all the shades from this range but this one is my favorite .. I just loved this pink shade which is ideal for every girl n a must have shade .. It contains little shimmer , I usually don't prefer shimmery nail paints , I choose glossy ones without any shimmer. But this color is very delicate n feminine n the shimmer is very subtle n light..

As I said earlier the shades are very sheer n requires two quotes for a goos color coverage. But for the price it offers I think even this consistency is worth paying off. As I've seen many high priced nail shades with very sheer coverage than these too. So definitely good shade..
